EYEONIX announces the establishment of a new Research, Innovation & Development Center of Excellence (R&I&D Center of Excellence) in Greece. The Center will focus on the development of EYEONIX solutions based on devices and technologies from Samsung Electronics Greece and Samsung SDS Europe. This initiative further strengthens the long-standing collaboration between the organizations and aims to accelerate the development of secure, advanced, and AI-enabled digital solutions for complex and mission-critical operational environments with high security requirements.
The new Center will operate as a hub for the design, development, pilot implementation, and validation of innovative technologies in key domains such as cybersecurity, modern Command & Control Centers, specialized configurations for defense and public safety, as well as advanced solutions for healthcare, civil protection, critical infrastructure, strategic organizations, and large enterprises.
At the core of the Center’s activities lies EYEONIX’s COMMAND platform, which serves as a unified digital backbone for the integration and analysis of data, sensors, connected devices, mobile terminals, and operational workflows, delivering real-time situational awareness and AI-supported decision-making across parallel operational environments.
The COMMAND platform, developed by EYEONIX, is already deeply integrated with Samsung SDS’s advanced secure mobility and enterprise management solutions, leveraging the Samsung Knox security architecture, and is deployed on Samsung professional mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, and wearables) for demanding field operations.
Solutions from Samsung Electronics Greece and Samsung SDS Europe to be showcased at the R&I&D Center include:
- Next-generation Samsung rugged professional devices, secure smartphones and tablets, and the Samsung Knox security architecture, providing device hardening, secure boot, Trusted Execution Environments (TEE), and comprehensive end-to-end protection for frontline operations and critical infrastructure environments.
- Enterprise-grade, high-security EMM solutions from Samsung SDS, enabling secure centralized device management, identity and access management, secure application lifecycle management, policy enforcement, and compliance for large-scale, multi-organizational deployments in high-assurance security environments.
Through this technological collaboration, EYEONIX, Samsung Electronics Greece, and Samsung SDS Europe will jointly support the development, validation, and pilot deployment of advanced solutions based on the COMMAND platform, addressing the modern needs of public safety, crisis and emergency management, smart cities, utility providers, and critical infrastructure operators.
This partnership strengthens EYEONIX’s position as a European technology provider for secure, AI-driven command and control systems, while leveraging Samsung’s global expertise in secure mobility, enterprise device ecosystems, and high-security IT architectures.
